MGB
Overview
The MG B was a two-door sports car that was manufactured and marketed by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, from 1962 until 1980. It was a development of the earlier MG A and was succeeded by the MG C. The MG B was the first MG model to feature a unitary body construction, and it was also one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger in a 30 mph impact.
Design and Development

The GT featured a fastback body style and a rear hatch, making it more practical for everyday use than the Roadster.
Performance
The MG B was powered by a 1.8-litre B-Series engine, which was capable of producing 95 horsepower. This engine was mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, with an optional overdrive unit available. The car was capable of reaching a top speed of 103 mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 11 seconds.
