Origins

The Injustice League is a group of supervillains appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The team was devised as a mirror image of the superhero team, the Justice League. The Injustice League first appeared in Justice League International #23 in January 1989.

Formation

The original Injustice League was the brainchild of the intergalactic conqueror Agamemno. He sought to conquer Earth and needed the help of Earth's greatest villains to achieve this. He brought together Lex Luthor, the Joker, the Penguin, Sinestro, Black Manta, and Chronos to form the first iteration of the Injustice League.
