Elizabeth Daily
Early Life
Elizabeth Ann Guttman, known professionally as E.G. Daily, was born on September 11, 1961, in Los Angeles, California. Her parents, Helen and Alex Guttman, were a European Jewish couple who had migrated to the United States. Daily grew up with her two siblings, brothers Ronald and Sam. From a young age, she showed an interest in performing arts, often participating in school plays and community theater.
Career
Daily began her career in the entertainment industry as a pop singer in the early 1980s. She released her debut album, "Wild Child", in 1985, which included the hit single "Say It, Say It". The song reached number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and established Daily as a promising new talent in the music industry.
In addition to her music career, Daily also ventured into acting. She made her film debut in the 1981 comedy-drama "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains". However, it was her role as Dottie in the 1985 film "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" that brought her mainstream recognition.
Daily's distinctive voice led her to a successful career in voice acting. Daily has been married twice. Her first marriage was to actor Rick Salomon, with whom she has two daughters, Hunter and Tyson. The couple divorced in 2000. In 2002, Daily married musician and real estate developer Tom Bray. They divorced in 2017.
Despite her busy career, Daily is also involved in various charitable activities. She is a supporter of animal rights and has worked with organizations such as the ASPCA and PETA.
