Overview
"The Powerpuff Girls" is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken and produced by Hanna-Barbera (later Cartoon Network Studios) for Cartoon Network. The show centers on Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three kindergarten-aged girls with superpowers, as well as their father and creator, a scientist named Professor Utonium. The girls all live in the fictional city of Townsville, USA and are frequently called upon by the city's mayor to help fight nearby criminals and other enemies using their powers.

The series premiered on November 18, 1998, and ended on March 25, 2005. It consists of 78 episodes spread over six seasons, along with two standalone specials and a feature film. In addition, a reboot of the series premiered in 2016.
Season 1 (1998–1999)

Season 4 (2001–2002)

Season 5 (2003–2004)

Specials
In addition to the regular series, two standalone specials were also produced. "The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!!" aired on January 19, 2009, and "Dance Pantsed" aired on January 20, 2014.
Feature Film
A feature film based on the series, titled "The Powerpuff Girls Movie", was released on July 3, 2002. The film serves as a prequel to the series and tells the story of how the Powerpuff Girls were created and how they came to be the defenders of Townsville.
Reboot (2016–2019)
A reboot of the original series, also titled "The Powerpuff Girls", premiered on Cartoon Network on April 4, 2016. The reboot ran for three seasons, concluding on June 16, 2019.
