History
The Warhawk Air Museum was founded in 1989 by John and Sue Paul, who had a passion for restoring and preserving historic aircraft. The museum started with a small collection of aircraft and has grown over the years to include over 40 aircraft and a vast array of aviation artifacts.
Collection
The museum's collection includes a variety of aircraft, ranging from early aviation history to modern military jets. Among the notable aircraft in the museum's collection are the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, the North American P-51 Mustang, and the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. The museum also houses a number of rare and unique aircraft, including a Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21, one of the few remaining examples of this Cold War-era jet fighter in the United States.
In addition to aircraft, the museum's collection includes a wide array of aviation artifacts, such as uniforms, medals, and personal items belonging to pilots and crew members. These artifacts help to tell the personal stories of those who served in the military and civilian aviation industries.
Exhibits
