Early Life
Tobey Maguire was born Tobias Vincent Maguire on June 27, 1975, in Santa Monica, California. His parents, Vincent Maguire and Wendy Brown, were both relatively young and unmarried at the time of his birth. His father was a construction worker and cook, while his mother was a secretary turned screenwriter and film producer. Maguire's parents divorced when he was two years old, and he spent his childhood moving between homes, living with both parents, his grandparents, and other relatives.
Career
