Rupert Grint

Early Life

Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint was born on 24 August 1988 in Harlow, Essex, England. His parents, Nigel Grint and Joanne Parsons, were both dealers in memorabilia. Grint is the eldest of five siblings and was raised in a Roman Catholic household. He attended St Joseph's Primary School in Hertford, a Roman Catholic primary school. He later attended Richard Hale School in Hertford.

Career

Harry Potter Series

Grint's career in the film industry began when he was selected to play the role of Ron Weasley, one of the three main characters in the Harry Potter film series. He was only 11 years old when he was cast in the role, which he played for the next ten years until the series concluded in 2011.

Post-Harry Potter Career

After the conclusion of the Harry Potter series, Grint continued his acting career with roles in films such as "Into the White", "CBGB", and "Moonwalkers". He also ventured into television, starring in the series "Sick Note" and "Snatch", and made his stage debut in "Mojo" at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London.
