Maastricht School of Management
History
The Maastricht School of Management (MSM) is a management school located in Maastricht, the Netherlands. It was established in 1952 as the "Foundation for Management Training for Developing Countries" by the Dutch government and various multinational corporations. The school's initial goal was to assist in the development of managerial capacity in post-colonial societies, particularly in Africa and Asia.
In 1983, the school was renamed the "Maastricht School of Management" to reflect its broader focus on providing management education to professionals worldwide. Today, MSM offers a range of programs, including MBA, Executive MBA, Online MBA, Master in Management, Doctor of Business Administration, and various executive education programs.
