History

The Kellogg School of Management was founded in 1908 as the School of Commerce of Northwestern University. In 1920, the school was renamed the School of Commerce and Administration. In 1943, the school introduced the Executive MBA program, the first of its kind in the world. In 1979, the school was renamed again, this time to honor the Kellogg family, who made a significant donation to the school.
