Kelli Berglund

Early Life and Education

Kelli Berglund was born on February 9, 1996, in Moorpark, California, to parents Mark and Michelle Berglund. She has a younger sister, Kirra, who is also involved in the entertainment industry. Berglund began studying ballet and jazz dance at a young age, and has also trained in lyrical, hip hop, tap, and contemporary dance styles.

Berglund attended Moorpark High School, where she balanced her academic studies with her burgeoning acting career. She graduated in 2014, and has since continued her education through online and community college courses.

Career

Early Career

Berglund's career in the entertainment industry began at a young age. She started off in commercials and modeling, and by the age of nine, she was cast in her first television role in the series Hip Hop Harry. She continued to work in television and film throughout her teenage years, appearing in shows such as Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? and America's Next Producer.

Breakthrough Role

Berglund's breakthrough role came in 2012 when she was cast as Bree Davenport in the Disney XD series Lab Rats. Her character, a bionic teenager with the ability to move at superhuman speed, was a fan favorite and helped to establish Berglund as a rising star in the industry.

Post-Lab Rats Career

Following the end of Lab Rats in 2016, Berglund transitioned to more adult roles. She starred in the 2016 drama film Raising the Bar, and in 2018, she joined the cast of the Starz series Now Apocalypse as Carly Carlson, a struggling actress and aspiring screenwriter.

In addition to her acting work, Berglund is also a singer and dancer. She has performed at a variety of events and venues, and in 2018, she released her debut single, "Something Real".
