Dima Bilan
Early Life
Dima Bilan was born as Viktor Nikolaevich Belan on December 24, 1981, in the city of Ust-Dzheguta, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. His mother, Nina Belan, is a nurse, and his father, Nikolai Belan, served in the military. Bilan has a younger brother, Gennadiy, and a sister, Yelena. His family moved to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan, in 1988, where he began to show an interest in music.
Career
Early Career
Bilan's musical career began at an early age when he was discovered by producer Yuri Aizenshpis in a local singing competition. He was signed to Aizenshpis' record label, Gala Records, and released his first album, "Ya Nochnoy Huligan" (I'm a Night Hooligan), in 2003.
