Early Life and Education
Cathy Cavadini, born Catherine Janet Cavadini, is an American voice actress and singer. She was born on April 21, 1961, in Long Beach, California. From a young age, Cavadini showed a keen interest in the performing arts, particularly in voice acting and singing.
She pursued her passion by enrolling in a drama course at a local community college. After completing her course, she furthered her studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she majored in Theatre Arts.
Career
Cavadini began her professional career in the early 1980s. She made her debut in the animated television series The Smurfs, where she voiced various characters.
In 1998, Cavadini landed the role that would define her career: Blossom in The Powerpuff Girls. Her performance as the intelligent and responsible leader of the superhero trio earned her critical acclaim and a Daytime Emmy nomination.
In addition to her work in animation, Cavadini has also lent her voice to numerous video games, including Final Fantasy XIII and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
