USC Trojans
History
The USC Trojans athletic program is a part of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The program was officially established in 1888, a year after the university was founded. The Trojans have a rich history and are one of the most successful programs in the history of the NCAA. The Trojans have won 107 national team championships, including 84 NCAA championships.


Athletics
The USC Trojans participate in the Pac-12 in all sports except for men's volleyball and water polo where they participate in the MPSF. The Trojans field 21 varsity teams including football, basketball, baseball, golf, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo, track and field, and volleyball. The Trojans have a strong rivalry with the UCLA Bruins, particularly in football where the winner receives the Victory Bell.
Football
The USC Trojans football program is one of the most decorated in college football history. The Trojans have won 11 national championships and have produced seven Heisman Trophy winners. The Trojans play their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, one of the most iconic sports venues in the United States.
Basketball
The USC Trojans men's basketball team has seen success over the years, with multiple NCAA tournament appearances and conference championships. The women's basketball team has also had success, with two national championships.
Other Sports
In addition to football and basketball, the Trojans have had success in many other sports. The baseball team has won 12 national championships, the most in the history of college baseball. The men's water polo team has also had significant success, with 14 national championships.
Mascot
The official mascot of the USC Trojans is Traveler, a pure white Andalusian horse that appears at all USC home football games. The rider, dressed as a Trojan warrior, leads the team onto the field at the start of each game.
